Fished the Lake for the first time today, good cloud cover and a hearty breeze, managed 2 best at 21/2 lbs. Small and black was effective, good day enjoyed by all.

We were out yesterday as well, had a good day. Pulling hard all day produced fish . The fish were still a bit localised although we got offers or fish in most places. jim

Fished the Lake today with my M8. It was busy, all boats out. Weather was mixed with variable wind, partial cloud cover and periods of bright sun.

I took 5 rainbows and my M8 had 2 so 7 for 14lb 8oz. 5 taken on or near the surface with loopwing emergers and 2 to the silver invicta.

All in all a good day out and at £21 each, not bad value.
