We were up on Saturday and as a club struggled. Bright and sunny day and an East wind. Less than perfect conditions to say the least. I had three broonys in the bay across from the jetty in the last hour. I also lost another couple. They were the first fish I had touched since the first hour when I rose four but none of them stuck on.
It was just one of those days. The rainbows didn't want to know and the broonys saved the day. One of last years finalists in the Carron Masters failed to land any. Obviously this has not been mentioned in the pub on both Saturday and Sunday night
Two Monday's ago I had good sport in Burnhouse, again late on. The evening sessions can't start quick enough to be honest. It was just seeming to get going the last couple of times I fished it but it was time to go in.
