Default Loganlea good fishing

Fished Loganlea yesterday with Bonnybridge Angling club, we had 10 boats on the water, conditions were good, a light breeze, overcast, with some bright spells, the fish were well spread out over the water, all of our members caught fish, most had their limit, and many had fish on catch and release, a total of 51 fish were taken for 119lb and 78 fish were returned on catch and release, seldom on a fishery do you see the boats so well spread out, it is common to see the boats grouped in one area where the fish are consentrated, but, yesterday you could drift the length of the dam and had a chance of fish all over, we thank our host Alex and his good wife for our welcome and we thank their grandson Louis for launching the extra boats for us, we have in Loganlea a good example of how a fishery should be run.

One or two about 4lb mark, many fish looked as though they would have been heavier, but, they were overwintered, perfect fish good fighters, some reports of people losing big fish, but then again, I have never lost a fish smaller than 6lb.

Loganlea has been fishing its socks of for weeks, always plenty fish to be had from the bank or the boat it doesn't really matter were you are. Its good to hear the fish have spread out as the last month or two they were mostly up the shallow end.

Thinking of going up there tmrw its either there or Frandy. Start of the season I said to myself I will try different venues but it doesn't really work out like that does it.
