Default Troutastic.

Spent the day at billys with stevie minus the banksie bashers as the great fly architect was pished the nigh before.Stevie had a few on his dry flies heavist 4.5lbs.I had a few on a wee blob early on in the morning.Met another angler fishing his works compi well done on your win mate asked me what fly i was using had a look through his boxes and hail there it was a banksie basher nearly the same vivid colour stuck it on straight away then the the fun started took two for six poundish then took another twentyeight could'nt quite belive it myself.A mixture of bows and blues from three four five and one over the six mark not all stockies. Thanks for the more than exceptional day billy.PS next quest how to nail a broon troot. Also met garsos work mate shuggie who's boy's showed him how to catch a troot.Time fur ma well earned carrie oot:

Post lawfield on sun

hi there,me and my friend went a wee trip up to lawfield on sat about 12 oclock, billy said we missed alot a fish getting caught in the morning and the fish have went off but we were up for trying to hook some nice fighting rainbows,my friend chriss burgess hooked 3 bows but was frustrated when the 3 of them spat the hook,i hooked into one in about ten mins of fishing,,then it went off for a while,i also hooked 2 but as before they spat the hook,it was a hard day's fishing, untill about half a hour before we were due of the water, i then hooked into a nice bow which weighed round abut the 10 pun mark,,as soon as i hooked into it ,it stripped my loose line straight back on to the reel and started running all over, what a feeling, exspecially on my first try of my new rod, thanks billy,p.s your chicken curry pies are superb, lol.
