Just thought i'd do a quick report on my first day out this year (I know it's late to start)

phoned george in the morning, polite and friendly. he was not going to be at the reservoir when i got there but he gave clear instructions what to do.

got up there, boats in great condition. Reservoir looked in good condition too with the water clearing nicely.

Had a nice row towards the top end, and had a great day on a couple of different drifts.

bagged my 4 within about 3 hrs, weighed in at 8.2lbs total. best at just over 2.5, two at about 2 and one just over the 1.5lb mark.

catch and released another couple after that, then some fish came on the rise so tried some different tactics but no luck in that.

but overall a great day out. 6 fish total, still great value and good people, would recommend it.

How much for a day on glencorse?? Oars only ??

was £20 for the 8 hr day session, that includes boat. they only have oars but you can use your own outboard if you have one.
