A very busy week with plenty of fish being caught and the completion of the First ever, Sana Bank international heat. This was won by Ayr Angler Kevin Andrews.Others who qualified were,Chris McAllister 2nd,Kevin Neri 3rd.also Alec Bowler(Ayr),Ian Adam,Stuart McCormick(ayr) and Willie Riddicks9Ayr) all will fish for an International place at the final in May at Howwodd in Glasgow.Stuart Montgomery also landed a 21lbs Carp during the competition ,which didnt count.Other notable catches during the week were Gordon Robertson with 10 fish and a 4lb 8 oz among them,martin Patience had an over wintered fish of 6lbson two outings with 14 and 25 fish,Alan Hodgetts hit 6 brownies and had 12 fish,Jim George had 30,Jim Eddie had 22,Donny Davidson had a great day with 3 fish for 16lb 3ozs,a fish of 7lbs and 6lbs 5ozs helped make up his bag,Ian Munro had 22 fish,Dave Leitch had a nice 4lb Blue,Bob Alexander had 30 fish,Young Rhiannon Robinson did really well with 36 fish on beetles,ronnie smith had 2 fish over 41/2 lbs,Gavin Addison had 23 fish on buzzers with an 8lb,er among them,Young Zak Keil had a 6lb 2ozs fish,anoter yongster Ryan mackay Smith had a 4lb 2oz fish.Barry Oldfield had 17 and Mark Morrison had 14 fish. On the coarse loch Rob Brownfield had a great day with carp of 15lbs and another at 20lbs.There is a coarse competition on the 25th April and names are being taken now and limited to first come first served basis.Airflo international team of 3 and individual will be held on the 24th April,will not effect fishing on the lochs during this event.Names and applications can be obtained from the fishery.
