North Country Angler is on a distinguished road
Default Barnsfold Lancs

Just a heads up for the Preston area lads - the fishery is starting to come to life after the harsh winter retarded buzzer hatches a couple of weeks later than normal.
Fished last night with me old man and although they weren't exactly crawling up the rod there were a few of the big black midge about and odd fish rising. Dad stuck to emergers and returned 9 and a surprise rudd, but I found a pair of crunchers/DBs worked behind a straggle mini on the di3 worked equally well - 13 fish for the evening.

Anyone who likes this fishery would be well advised to pop up over the next 3 weeks as the cream of the season's fishing is about to start. Expect anything up to 20 fish on a good evening.

Matt
