Default Yorkshire Stillwaters?

Can anyone recommend any still waters in Yorkshire that don't cost a lot for day ticket? Maybe non-stocked brownie reservoirs etc?

I was considering going up to to the Washburn Valley but prices a little too steep for me at £18.

Hi
I think Raygill is going to be your choice at around £12 for the day, fish are charged by the pound if you keep them

Raygill Fishing Lakes - WELCOME PAGE & LINKS

Cheers

You've also got Maran Lakes { 5 small lakes } with very good value ticket options starting from £6.50.............. plenty of buzzer znd dry fly sport.

Stonebridge is small but there's a chance, a good chance of a double figure fish......... Hourly tickets { min. of 2 hours }, half day sport etc.

Tanfield lodge is a beautiful place to fish............ and very affordable, havn't got up there this season but last years tickets were £7 evening ticket 2 fish. Day ticket i think is £12, could be more but not much { i only ever fish evening }. You will not be dissapointed with this fishery.

Raygill as mentioned is a good place also.

These are my main haunts, there are plenty of others but like you i like to keep the cost down.
