I was at Elinor Saturday and had 11 fish in about 4 hours. Off the coarse bank (top end), because of wind behind. Got first 3 or 4 on damsels, then size 14 black buzzer and bloodworm. I did find that dead slow retrieve worked best, those further along bank pulling faster seemed to get less fish.
Enjoy the day, Peter

I don't think you'll need too much help, Phil

If they are having buzzers, I am pretty sure the bung will work.

Best fishing i've had for a long time. Not because of the number or quality of the fish, just because it was a nighmare to work them out.

They are pre-ocupied with small buzzers. They will not chase a lure or sniff at a dry even though they are rising constantly. I went down to size 18 shipmans and they just turned their noses up.

However..........4 flys on a floater......size 12 booby cruncher on the point...2 size 12 diawl bachs on the droppers and another cruncher booby on the top........worked a treat. It was a fish every other cast for around an hour before i had to leave. The cruncher had to be JUST under the surface.

On thurs (very different conditions, sunny & windy) i caught on size 12 traffic light buzzers under the bung. The dropper caught every fish that was about 3ft under.
