Default craigluscar fishery fife

went to craigluscar yesterday and was chuffed to manage 5 fish Also chuffed to find out that there is now a choice of tickets available. i.e keep 4 fish then return 4. This is a great change from my point of view as before you got a 5 fish limit with no c&r option. p.s good value at 20 quid for 4 fish plus 4 c&r..

How about, catch what you pay for and release up to 20 if you can catch them. That would be better, huh! The water is big enough to sustain this and it might make things a bit more interesting between stockings....nobody wants to go home after fishing for 2hrs or be forced to buy a second or third ticket. I fished it about 6-7 years ago and enjoyed it but would be reluctant to go back for that reason.

I compleatly agree as i was at craigluscar last wedensday and got the £12 catch 2 and release 2 ticket and the fishing was good and i had 2 fish within 1 hour and was onto releasing them when one of the baliffs came round and accused me of catching and releasing more than my 2 fish. i told him i hadnt caught anymore and he started shouting and swaring at me calling me all sorts which i wont repeat but you get the idea he was compleatly out of order and i am only 16 and this is how they treat the visiting anglers who pay for the fishing and encourage young people to take up the sport, because of this i wont be going back and would also encourge none of you to go as this is no way to treat the visiting anglers that pay for the Dunfermline Artisan A.C. members fishing.
regards,
Tom

Thats interesting tommy cos a few years ago, when myself and my mate went up one day, we were both 20 years old the exact same thing happened, we had our bags searched and simply cos we had been more successful than the other guys or members that day! It was unreal and i am reluctant to go back.

The only saving grace was that a member beside us agreed that it was shocking and completely due to our age/success that day.

another negative for luscar, iv been once too, and will never return. The officious little turd who took my cash in the morning could not have been more ignorant if he tried, and before id even tackled up i decided i wouldnt be back. My mind was set when i had three fish of the poorest quality id seen in a while. Too many better fisheries in the area to even consider this place

i must admitt i stand corrected as when i posted this thread originally i was under the impression that there was an unlimited c&r ticket. this is not the case, and i have never been back.much better venues in the area.as for the big brave hard man mouthing off at the young angler, this is not the first time i have heard of such negative behaviour amongst some members at craigluscar.
