Default Loch Glow

Went up to Loch Glow this evening for a few hours. It just re-opened on Sat after the harsh winter.

Had a successful night, taking 7 fish in total, kept 4. Fish came to small black blob and black buzzers!

Water is still very cold up there but was a gorgeous evening to be out and made better with the fish. They are small at about 1lb avergae but perfectly formed and fighting well!!
The baliff was telling us that over the course of next week a large stocking of blues and tiger trout going in-should be interesting!

Looking forward for the water to warm up abit for the evening buzzer and dry fishing!!

Hi Stan,

Thanks for the advice on the phone the other week, the booby you mentioned did well for me up the lake today. Two of us bagged up......Go on say it.......stockie basher.

3 overwintered ones to buzzers as well though.

It could be a long wait for that up there I'm surprised it was open already, thought it would still be frozen over.
