With the water temperature being so cold the fish are in no mood to chase fast moving flies the best methods seem to be a very slow retrieve or fishing static buzzers.
Individual returns: Stuart & Pete Henry ( Dunfermline) kept 7 fish weighing 17lb. Hamish Fulton (Menstrie) kept 2 fish weighing 6lb and released a further 7, included in his catch was a 3lb Blue Trout. Ken Hutchison (Alloa) kept 2 fish weighing 5lb. Alex Galloway (Tillicoultry|) kept 2 fish weighing 4lb. Jim Donnelly (Tullibody) kept 2 fish weighing 5lb 8oz and released 12. Andy McCreary (Dunfermline) kept 3 fish weighing 7lb.
