have any one ever fish sutton sprins big fish water

Shamefully, i'll hold my hands up and admit to fishing it. I will never do so again. Firstly, it's easy easy easy. a fish a cast if you use leaded damsels. I had 2 17 pounders and a 15 and i have to confess it was fun, but the lake is tiny, and half of it is shallow and full of carp. all the trout were around the inflow and while they were huge, tehre was no challenge in catching them. I looked for a brownie or something massive, but saw neither, and to add that Nigel Jackson is a miserable sod didnt add to my enjoyment. It was fun for a day, but don't claim any fish you get from there as achievements. it's fishing in a stock pond. simple as.

Yes i got talked into it by two ex workmates,a good few years ago now.
Never again!!! Tiny pool or should i say pond,too expensive,right next to a busy A road,most of the fish at one end near the inlet.
Damsel on a floater ya can't fail.
Not my cup of tea,but if that floats your boat then fair play to you.

Fished it once and my views are the same as others expressed here.
Very expensive, not very big and no real challenge. I am sure other fisherman have a different view on it. For the money I think there are many other places that offer more.
