Default srringwater fishery ayr update

fly pond fished well in the morning untill the cold n/w wind got up top catch today sat was colin walker who returned 19 fish biggest est at 8lbs best fly was bloodworm,simson McCreath from dunure 2 fish for 4lb 8oz and returnes another 4 ,john keer had 2 fish 4lb 9oz on a 2 fish c/r ticket but stoped after his 2 fish he didnt want to debarb his hook

Jon i`ve came across a lot of guys on a kill ticket that get their limit on a fly and take it off so they don`t have to debarb it before going on to fish c&r.I don`t see the logic it myself!Wee Joey

think it was the fly he got his fish on he only had the one and didnt want to debarb also think he dosent like c/r anyway he went home happy with his diner all he needed was some chips

best catch for today thursday was scott mitchell from cumnock who was on a 4hr 2 fishc/r ticket had 2 fish for 4lbs 10oz and released another 6 lovely fish all caught on a green blob tight lines wullie

update week ending 28th march
fly pond fished a wee bit harder due to all the rain and cold winds
best catch was colin walker who released 11 lovely rainbows,t blair got 4 fish for 8lb 7oz, mr riddocks and friends released 21 fish beetwen them
green blobs and green and black lures fishing well

update 10/4/10 fly pond fishing well again wullie dickie from dumfries released 1o fish biggest 4lb ,young josh harvey from ayr caught 2 on his first time ever fly fishing.mr dunlop from kilmarnock released 8 fish,mr shaw also from kilmarnock released 8 fish.ian crossan from ayr released 12 fish best flys yellow dancer green and black lures and coral blobs

mr alan from newcastle released 17 fish on black and green buzzers underneath a bung well done the bait pond is also fishing well
