Default Just my Views on hot spots

Hi to all, it’s a dangerous thing passing or making comments about anglers or fisheries it’s a bit like playing with a hand grenade with the pin out, I should know Ive probably fallen out with more anglers than most, however hot spots and hogging areas has been happening since the beginning of time, personally and its only an opinion, I do think that this forum is getting a little to complicated and it should return to its original concept of Stillwater updates, its far too easy for a business reputation to be destroyed by a slip of the pen or by comments made by someone that’s fallen out with someone or someone trying to big up somewhere, the real and very hard fact is that fisheries generally are well down on numbers and now because of the anonymity and popularity of these forums when someone is misbehaving or not quite obeying the written or unwritten rules we have think hard about stepping in and telling people to move on and let others catch some fish, ( Hey there’s a few that wont come back to the Goldenloch, which is sad, because its due to my temper < I have changed honest>) This is a new season and fishing is meant to be a relaxing sport for all to enjoy managers and owners included, I like to think that all my anglers enjoy their visits with us, and yes this has been a hard weeks fishing, but for me to read this forum I can see its hard at other places, What anglers should appreciate is that this has been a hard few months for everyone and we as fisheries want you to come to our fisheries and catch fish, this will probably be the best year ever for good deals and competitions, even we are trying to do something that’s going to attract anglers, But seriously its up to you guys to try and encourage others to take up the sport and also to encourage friends that used to fish to come back to fishing, get the youngsters and dare I say it women, all are welcome from a fishery owners point of view, WE need you more now than ever before, fly technology has moved on so much in the last few years making fishing a much more interesting sport, and that’s a subject all on its own WHAT FLIES SHOULD AND SHOULDN’T BE ALLOWED AT A FLY FISHING LOCH, take care all and tight lines

Should have thought of that before giving folk hard times for in your eyes, and i quote your words at the time, to myself "taking the mick out of c&r"!!!!!!. It still confuses me but i respected your opinion at the time, and do so now, and will never be back. I do not take this personally as you have done this to other people i fish with on seperate occasions. Your right, you have a ridiculous temper my man.

I think thats its good and fair that managers and owners express their opinions, god knows we all do it often enough. Thank you to John for taking the time to talk to my younger brother last Saturday mostly about facebook right enough but a little fishing was thrown in there and you have only increased his interest in the sport.
