Can anyone help in regard to fishing either Lechlade or avington this Friday 19th March 2010? I have never fished either

Fished both this month, and they're both great, but very different. Avington more a stalking water but this is the wrong time of year for stalking. Lechlade full of big fish but not easy. Scroll down on this page or next to see the Lechlade/Avington updates. both threads have loads of tips as to hotspots and likely tactics.

At this time I would probably go for Lechlade if you are after a biggie.

Cheers Brwnie basher that chav site was top draw especially the markings on the map. I have been put off slightly by the freezing conditions and also the fact its forecast heavy rain, not that it bothers me but it doesnt'y seem too appealing for fish
