Default Is everywhere fishing sh1t right now.......?

I went to Rib today, to practise with a mate for the Airflo at the weekend - it was as hard as I can remember it. I had three but only four pulls.

Last weekend a few of us went to Ravensthorpe and, while we caught a few including two real lumps, a lot of people blanked. From what I heard, Elinor was harder than usual last weekend too and Hanningfield opening day was tough.

The bottom line is.........................ten weeks of really cold weather and a sharp North Easterly are really taking their toll.

Is anywhere fishing well ?

Charlie

Charlie, I've fished Packington, Elinor and Lechlade recently....they are all "Tough" but I have managed fish in each.

I reckon the luck lies in dragging a fly past their noses..it's the only chance you've got.

Not at all, Charlie - 7 fish with a couple dropped wasnt a bad result on Hanningfield on Sunday

Mind you, the bitterly cold wind did knacker my hands to teh point they were cracked and bleeding the next day and everyone thought I had some strange lurgy

Mind you, I wasnt the one who pulled out a fat lump from Ravensthorpe
