Default Frozen openning day

I have been fishin now for 35years and this could be the 1st openning day (15th) that i can remmember that could be missed through the frozen conditions on the bigger stillwaters.

weve already had this problem down here on stocks bens been here 15 years and its never happened before

Yip it,s not looking good is it,, Frandy was meant to open last weekend but no joy , Homepage , Their was a Polar bear and a load of Penguins spotted though

Yes it has been a disasterous winter for most of my small stillwater fishery friends. Now the big waters are perhaps going to miss out on their grand opening days. The financial health of many waters is not good as they take hit after hit.

the years profit margin is already lost, 2 or 3 months lost anywhere is the worst thing that can happen.

harelaw has been closed since september the 25th. snypes has been closed for 16 weeks. give or take a week.

thats a long long time.

Took a walk up to Harperleas on saturday and i couldnt believe it was still like this, even walked out on it! gonnae be a while until it thaws cos it was very thick! the chunk on the wall was broken off the thawing edge around the tower and it was approx 3"
