Evening Tommy,

It was a bit icy on Wednesday... But wullie was on the boat clearing it... It was all clear by 9am... The front and the shallows are clear due to the inflow... 7degrees the burn is running at... I'll be there tomorrow first thing... Hope to see you there pal...

Stevie

P.s. don't forget your bob Marley!

Aye wiz a great day had 2 about the 5lb mark forgot how hard they neuk troot pulled. N since it was you that brought up the sheep woody not wullie or wilma. Yes everyone woody hooked into a 70kg ram only to be pulled 50yards chasing it fearing for his line until it broke him off. You were warned to use strong leader pal

Went to ALDERNEUK today for the first time in a while and thoroughly enjoyed it. Turned up to a lovely welcome from WILMA ,nothing really changes here then After WILMA broke the ice on the boat i fished thru the slush and had one on the bank on a black buzzer, and lost another straight after Then had one on a pink rabbit and a few offers that didnt stick after that. Another on the pink and a few follows and refusals later i hooked a monster trout. LOST IT its okay im alright Can still feel it going and going and going and dam it PING Really enjoyed my day and considering the low temps and fishing pressure ,for a SUNDAY it fished well. I had 3 wish some might say isnt exactly pulling up trees , but with the chances i had and missed ive got to say ALDERNEUK fished really well and honestly could have had a bagfull. Many thanks to WILMA for her coffee and hospitality and hope to get down soon. If your reading this lads and lassies , give it a go . Its a fantastic small stillwater and the fish are quite simply GREAT. TIGHTLINES
