Anybody fished Coltsford lately, found it on the internet thought it looked hopeful but would appeciate feed back from the forum. I am thinking about a January trip.

I used to fish it when I restarted flyfishing few years ago
It is a small stocked water fairly easy with good shop bar to retreat to in the cold Shawn ,the owner is friendly and helpfull .
I moved on as I wanted something larger / less crowded but still have fond memories
Oh yes and Coltsford Mill always fishes best in the winter

Fished it in the Spring. Looks very nice in the photos but a bit of a khasi in reality. I won't be back.

Checked the place out a good few months back.All those fishing had not had a tug bettween them.We Didn't bother to fish it-went elswhere.My mate has fished it a good few times and has not found it easy,although he has had a few decent fish.
Must say i was a tad dissapointed in the look of the place.
