Default NEWHAYLIE:98% Fishable 25/02/2010 16.30pm

We got absolutely battered with snow and wind yesterday and had about ten inches of slush sitting ontop of the water. 98% is now cleared the rest should be ok for the morning.
The small steep hill upto the loch had 3to 4 feet snow drifts on it but is now clear too.
Work done for the day.

Thanks Guys am just not rising to the bait lol!
Its no fun at the moment this weather is giving fisheries a severe battering.

It is also hard going trying to keep the place fishing when the elements are full on against you.Anyway dont mind the hard work its the making money bit thats hard.Get Rich or Die Trying.
George.

Hi george might not be making money but all the anglers who visit your water or their own local fishery are greatful for all the effort which is put into keep the fisheries open at this time of year and get the chance to escape the wife for a few hourskeep up the good work.

Hi George,

Good to see those Ice eaters are working out for you, best purchase ever!

Default Ice Eaters:

They are becoming so expensive to keep feeding them or perhaps we are just using them too much.
Glad you got one anyway worth the effort but early start seems to be the answer to good returns plus it is a bit peggy due to depths am sure you noticed bits fishing really well any way will confuse the guys tomorrow as the fish were on the move this week with the snow, slush, and driving east wind.

A friend of Wee Joey's fished today and had another cracking day despite the weather, from memory he had a good day on Sunday too not sure if he is on the forum though.

Anyway Saturday mornings you need to go some to beat Stevo and his dad HUK first on finding the fish and showing us how its done.
