I fished these lakes for the first time yesterday 18/02/2110,a very interesting venue with four lakes. My lucky first fish of 7lb. 12oz. was gutted by Tom the
head bailif (extremely helpful) for a group of children. while fishing on the other side of the lake i found listening to this very entertaining.Thanks Westhouse for a pleasant days sport. TIP,Dont put postcode into satnav put in Mill Lane Bishopton.Worth a visit.

Its abit strange when the sat nav takes you into a dead end in a housing estate isn't it?

I think I will be heading down for a few hours tomorrow, where the lakes good and free from ice still?

The largest three lakes were totally free from ice, the smallest Fox Lake i think had a little ice in the morning but had cleared by the afternoon. Have a good productive days fishing. Good luck.

I had a good day down there on saturday, 8 fish the best of which was 5lb 11oz on small buzzers and lures.
