Default Daniel Murray age 6 Memorial Day

I am interested in running a fly only catch and release memorial day raising funds for the Royal Hospital for Sick Children Glasgow as my nephew had spent time there receiving treatment for cancer before passing.

A Family Day: All the boys,
I was fortunate enough to have taken my nephew his brother my dad and Daniels dad my own brother fishing just three months before he passed away the excitment and joy on his face as I let him play the trout on my line, we dropped a few before finaly getting one to the bank. The memory of that day will stay with me forever.

I am keen to proceed with this memorial day with all proceeds going to the above hospital my concerns are can i fill the pegs and find a date that is amicable with the surrounding fisheries so that nothing clashes.

As my brother is my business partner and we are keen trout anglers I am sure he would be pleased if we use our fishery as an instrument to raise funds for such a needy cause as this disease touches almost every family be it old or young.Daniel passed away the month after my brother and I had taken over the Haylie please PM me or post if you are interested in taking part or contact me on 01475 676 005 setting a date that does not clash is first on the agenda any thoughts.

George.

I'll be very happy to donate a prize, say £25 Sportfish voucher. There but for the grace of God.....
