Default parkview fishery

Was down at parkview today and got some good news from wullie they're planning on removing the fencing around the lower banking and he has already removed the gorse bushes so casting will be easier for all like me who are a little lackin in the height department.

Default Expanding?

I wonder if the removal of the infamous parkview fence and willies handywork wi a big stick wi a nasty lookin blade attached to it could signal the start of some expansion?

Thumbs down

fished parkveiw a few times

1 as you say the fence...its a pain..

2 the Attitude from them is way out of order

3 there is a very close group of kleeks (some getting free fishing when the rest of us are paying) if you ask me

4 was down there on a all day ticket and no one came near us after we payed

so all in all....not impressed with the place at all

i can mention a few other local places are the area that have a much better way of dealing with the customers....and some not to far from parkveiw

so my vote on parvkiew

this is very true its crystal clear
but having crystal clear water does not make it a great place to fish

should have added this in earlyer....

plus myself i,m not a lover of big fish that go belly up after a 3 min fight would rather have a fish around 2lb...3lb that will fight all the way.....
all they are doing is putting in old breeders and making cash from it...that dont make it is great place to fish

i live in glenrothes and fish atleast 4 places in the local area and i,m impressed by them.....parkveiw does not come in to it for me

Drumsmoker, i agree with most of your points but im quite happy if no one comes to see me after iv paid, i like to be left alone to fish. time talking to someone iv just handed money to fish a set time is fishin time lost, i dont see that as an issue. It also dont bother me if people are fishin for free, that dont affect my fishin one little bit. IMO parky serves a decent purpose in providing some decent winter sport. Its 5 mins away from me, i go, pay get ma head down and fish. And count down the days to Lochmill, Rescobie, Leven, Menteith, Lintrathen and the rest, where we can once more forget about the dubs, till next winter!!!!
