Opening Day is Saturday 20th March and water levels should be back to normal by then is as much as I know. Rutland gillies website usually has current info on it but the Brenig link is not working at the moment for some reason.

Robroy usually has his finger on the pulse so I'm sure he'll be along shortly to give you some more info.

Cheers

FJ

Thanks fj as requested water levels are almost back to normal and stocking is to be 38k and the fish are doing fine now (averaging 2lb) there will also be larger fish trickle stocked weekly throughout the season, just to make it a bit interesting

I for one can't wait to get on brenig this season, if robroys right with the 38,000 solid bows planned to go in im sure it's going to soon be back to it's best.
Plus traws now has a fish farm and should soon be producing plenty more than the average number.
Add robroys place (talallyn)??? in to the mix with the bumper load of brown he's got going in and trout fishing in mid-wales is looking good.....
