Default Millhall Reservoir, Polmont

Hi Guys,

Just to try to keep you up to date with what’s happening at Millhall Reservoir.

We now have finalised a new website ' Millhall-Reservoir ' which contains all current info for anglers.

We have taken delivery of a third 'Coulam 15' fishing boat to complete the renewal of our little fishing fleet. We now have a trio of these fine Coulam boats (the same as used on Rutland Water) as well as our tried and trusted 'wheelyboat' available for anglers.

Over the winter, five of the 30 fishing platforms have been renewed.

The loch had been frozen solid December – early January, then we had the thaw and were completely ice-free. Recent overnight temperatures now have a thin skin of new ice over approx half the loch. Opening day this year is Saturday 27th February, so I hope the weather eases a bit.

I look forward to seeing some more forum members in season 2010, and please feel free to drop me a PM for help on tactics/locations when you pay a visit.

I’ll make a determined effort to post regular reports on how the loch fishes throughout the season.

Bill

This is a scandalous rumour put about by all those who prefer to fish 'chickens' all the time - just 'cos my buzzers are too small for them to see!
