Foremark Reservoir will open for the new season on March 6th with a longer season than last year staying open up to November 28th.

The fishing at Foremark is secure for the next few years having sorted out the new lease with STW.

The restricted bank fishing (No fishing on the dam wall or the vistor entrance side) is still in place with bank anglers able to fish from the boat pontoon past the sailing club down to the boundary with the nature reserve.

For 2010 I have 22,000 fish on order (5,000 more than last year) which will include a pre-season stocking of 4,500 rainbows.

In the next couple of weeks I hope to have the fishery web site up & running.

Foremark update. Opening Saturday 6th March

The boats are on the water & the fish for the opening have been stocked with 2,765 trout between 1lb4oz - 1lb14oz, 1,252 trout 2lb - 2lb4oz & 577 trout 3lb - 5lb in total 4,594 trout which should ensure a good start. The boats for opening day are fully booked with only a few remaining for the Sunday.

Main gate will be open from 7.30am
