Nice one Colin..looking forward to the new season at High Dam. Just managed to catch the tail end last year but had some great sport there as you know.

Might see you next Friday for a few hours,
Cheers Diarmid.

Default good day

Had a great day at High Dam today , not the most favourable conditions , rod eyes were icing as you were fishing , managed 9 (all released) and lost quite a few and missed tonnes , fish were packed tightly together tho! ,main fly doing the business was a green and white fritz with a red head ,definatly worth a bash if you havent tried it , cheers for a good day Colin

Cheers

Chris

Myself and Edd7 had a great day at High dam. About 50% of the Dam was frozen at 08.30 but with the Colin breaking the ice and the sun coming out it soon thawed out. Fishing started off a bit slow then picked up nearer lunch time, with 4 rainbows between 2-3lb all on a Millenium bug fished below an indicator. Then managed another 5 in the afternoon all on one of Edd's special lures (killer pattern mate ) still on a floating line and lost a few.
Edd got a few on a Bloodworm below an indicator around midday, then changed to a sink tip with his special home tied killer pattern and caught stacks more! He ended up with 14 and i ended the day with 9.
Top day out..will be back at High Dam soon!

Cheers Diarmid.
