. Anyway.. the fish were in good condition, but wont break any size records. The place was really nice and the people friendly. Well worth considering if you're a beginner I think, although the water was a little coloured. Apparently the lakes have been fishing well recently.



Haven't heard that venue mentioned for a long time - never been myself but lived in Nottingham when it first opened (maybe 15+ years ago) so remember the name - I thought it had closed down but obviously not! Speaking of Nottingham, I learnt on Colwick Park, which if anywhere near you is worth a go (or used to be), especially as you can get a boat out for variety and its quite cheap (or used to be!)
