What a weekend at Markle, place was very busy when I went for a cast on Sunday .... and got turned away as it was full!!

Looking at the catch returns, its little wonder!

One guy had a 17lb and a 15lber weighed in!!!

Another guy had returned one which was estimated larger than these!!!!

Also plenty fish in the 3 - 10 lb range being caught while I stood and had a coffee.... Had to kill some time before picking the mrs up!!!(after all I was away fishing for the afternoon!!)

Well what else would it be mate,

ive seen coarse fish,eels,browns and rainbows pulled from markle but never a pike

I dunno? Just i've never heard of pike being caught there!

I think someone is extracting urine here.

I have fished markle for years never saw a pike or heard of any being caught there.

I have fished with large Zonkers and never had a pike on.
