Yep, its because of the cold weather, remember the cold spell with all the snow and ice and stuff,
thats why mate,

nowt wrong with snow and ice as it doesn't really affect rivers that much ,its the bloody rain thats fcuked things up ,i like snow and ice ,it keeps the bank planks at home and off the rivers only fish stillwaters if im forced to mate

Yep , cold weather seem s to bring out the better fish, certainly pike wise i found, always come on a big old hen mouching around bays or weed beds,

still mate you cannot beat the old sun on your back, and the heat on your face

Gutted, got to get out this weekend, just praying the rivers dont get too bad.

After the cold spell the lakes are about 50% defrosted now so some fishing should be possible now. if anyone has any questions pm me
