Once....and only once!!!! It's small and from memory and very coloured. Caught a few on my trip on bloodworms if memory serves but affraid i wasn't impressed. Small fish, small lake and coloured badly. This was a number of years ago mind so things might well have changed. It's still going so it can't be that bad!!!

Good luck if you go and let us all know how you get on.

Went about the same time as this last year.
Water was as said earlier coloured, and despite a lot of wind took a four fish bag on small cats whisker. It was a case of finding the fish and they were easy. Small stockies and with no catch and release it could be a short day if you find them early.

I have just returned from a mornings fishing at Barton Marina. Lovely venue......I think .. the fog was so thick you couldn't see the other bank at times.

And it does freeze and so did I at times, hard work, just 4 fish in 5 hours for the three of us....

At a tenner for a days sporting ticket you can't go wrong, going back later this week weather permitting excellent sport
