Default Eisteddfa fishery

Here s a nice little water to try when all the big lakes are closed {for all you comp guys} its a friendly place ,quiet and with plenty of fish in the lake to keep every one happy ! one my last visit they was a winter leauge match on and this is not the usual comp that we are used to but a very friendly event with competitors netting each others fish and great banter heard across the lake one of the competitors [ trev] kindly netted a 12lb bow for me and informed me that it was the 4th that day to be caught i fished for 3hrs and had 7 fish , mainly on lures such as montana s cats whiskers, and damsel s, but dont rule out dry s buzzers or nymphs. Tom is the guy that runs it and is a friendly chap who will help with tactics and advice . you can contact him at tom.careyevans@btinternet.com or phone 01766523425.
this is a good little fishery to keep the winter blues away and very reasonably priced with various ticket options

You could have invited me along you cheating B*****D Gog!!! Not much chance of the induced take method on a stocking pond so I suppose I'll have to give you the benefit of the doubt with the 12lber!

Where in Gog Wales is this mate? I'm Starting to get withdrawl symptoms so I'll have to get out somewhere next week. I did try to have a go at Dragonfly the other day but it was frozen over. it's not really my thing as you know but there is no way I'll last until April!!

I could do Tues or Wed next week as long as SWMBO gets a day xmas shopio if you fancy a lesson

*Edit*

I've just googled Eisteddfa fishery and came up with this:

Eisteddfa Fisheries - Fishery - Criccieth, Pwllheli, Snowdonia, Wales. Pysgotfa.

or for the more adventerous here's the Welsh version:

Eisteddfa Fisheries - Fishery - Criccieth, Pwllheli, Snowdonia, Wales. Pysgotfa.

Hi Robroy,

Yes, the match went ahead, Santa came second again, he lost his last fish at the net or so he said otherwise he would have won it.

I hear that Sue was complaining about the quality of the flies she was using

She's not competitive not much!!!

poor old santa or was that a good will gesture after all it is the season of goodwill to all i did nt supply any of my flies to sue and you will be hearing from my solicitor !! but i think we might be able to settle out of court if the right offer were made { some of those special boobies} must agree with you about sue not being competitive though do you think we could persuede her to have a go at the trials ?
