i`m sure it re opened at the weekend, however most of the resident fish escaped in the floods, it`s been restocked now but may take a while to reestablish it`s self.

Chris.

The coarse lads fished a match there at the weekend, but I don't know about the trout.
Give them a ring on 01764 682 287.
Cheers,
Angus

All i know is they escaped via the wee burn that flows adjacent to the fishery Jim the fish could possibly end up in either water you mentioned.

That's a bit of a disaster to whatever system they end up in.

Do you know if any of them are good for grayling? Maybe pick them up the now fishing for them before they start munching on the sea trout and salmon eggs.

There are no Grayling in these systems, they are Predominately Salmon/Seatrout waters.Just when the fish are spawning .

Default its a rumour

Hi there, just to let you know that no coarse fish escaped from Orchill Fishery at all, none not one, zilch.

wherever this rumour came from is not true, it is true there was a bit flooding in the field , due to a barley bale blocking the burn, but that is nowhere near the coarse section, Elizabeth assures me that she never lost any Rainbows either,

I currently run the websites for Orchill

Orchill Loch

New Website for Orchill Coarse Fishery - A Bravenet.com Hosted Site

Hi Richard.welcome to the forum.thanks for letting us know that no fish were lost.
Re- the website.the weekly report is hard to read because of the background colour.
