Here are a few photos from a friendly comp held at Ellerdine Lakes today between Ellerdine cheshire Hawks and Welsh Hawks. A big thanks goes to Gary Edwards and his band of helpers that laid on breakfast and home made cake for lunch what a fantastic day !

Cheshire hawks run out winners by a neck today 21 fish to 19 but i think if they had been a wiegh in it may have been a different story

Good stuff, I sometimes fish Ellerdine myself. I really only fish small waters out of necessity, seeing as thats whats most available near me, but I must say I have never yet been dissapointed with Ellerdine - good quality fish, good range of sizes so you never quite know what you're going to get next, a few good brownies to add variety, very well run, sensible prices and a decent amount of water to go at. Can't really ask for more that that can you?

Nice pictures! Even the ones with Garry on them- how come the lens didn't crack? Ellerdine is a good fishery with the highest quality and most amusing abuse you'll find anywhere. add to that quality fish, a good set up, free drinks and you have a recipe for success.
