Not been there this week but was there 3 weeks ago Minkies with a gold lite brite body and humungous, both on a wetcell 2 were doing the damage between the landing stage and the sailing club.
May have changed since though.

Tight lines

All boats went to the tower in the main basin, plenty of fish around but very slow going probably due to the very cold night we had. Did manage 2 fish for 6ld so not too bad. Lost 2 more. 2 minkies on a Di8 fish very slowly.

Did you find the body colour of the minkie made a difference and did you try the humongous?

Yes I tried the humungus without success, tried gold bodied and silver bodied minkies. The best fish at over 3lb had 17 fry inside it. Going again on friday so we know where to go.

Ian Barr was in a boat in the same area, don't know his final tally but we saw him get one and then a double shooter so there are fish there. His partner Ed Upton had a 5lb rainbow and 4 other fish.

if there on the fry you don't have to go far, just fish in the boat dock.
