Default Cound, Shropshire

Managed another outing today with the laddie so decided upon Cound which I finshed and blanked some 15yrs ago.

I remember plenty of fish moving on the surface but tricky to catch and today was much the same.

A great little water, friendly owner and well conditioned hard fighting fish albiet a bit on the wee side!

My son got his 2nd fly caught troot whilst I got 3, all returned to fight another day.

Floating lines, damsels, hoppers & cats whisker doing the damage

Cheers

Rick
