Has anyone been to Barnsfold recently ? , as i have a club match there this saturday and any info would be gratefully received, as i haven't fished the place in years.

Dad returned 9 last Sunday evening on DHE's, although I doubt you'll see much surface sport this weekend....

I always find it pays to keep moving. Too many Barnsfold fishers park themselves on the causeway in the same spot all day and wonder why they struggle a bit.

cormerants on a fast glass or di 3 with short slow pulls should do the trick mike of the causway good luck john hood

was up a couple of weeks ago and found a minkie with a size 12 sunburst blob on the dropper fished on an intermediate with long pulls did the trick. i like to be imitative . alternatively black and green goldheads always seem to do well when its cold

you can,t beat a good black and green gold head hatch in the evening at barnsfold

cheers lads , had a good day in the end finished second , caught 9 and weighed 4 in for a total of 12lbs 4 ozs, mainly on a di 3 with 2 boobies on a 10ft leader, also caught on a slow glass with an olive goldhead damsel and 2 cormorants, regards mike
