Default Tweedale

I agree with Diarmid the fishing was great. Its good to see a fishery that understands how to deliver a quality product. The fish were top notch and the number of large fish caught was remarkable. I think everyone had a slab. I was lucky to catch a couple myself. I think a special thanks has to go to Jim for his hard work with putting this event together. Great Day, Great company,
Thanks Graeme.

Default Big thanks to all the members who attened the fff day out

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO THANK ALL THE MEMBERS WHO ATTENED THE FFF DAY OUTING AT TWEEDDALE MILLENNIUM ON NOV 8th 09. I WAS DELIGHTED THAT THE WEATHER STAYED FINE AND THAT YOU GOT A FEW OF OUR MILLENNIUM TROOT. I WAS SORRY THAT DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES I PERSONALLY COULD NOT COME TO THE FISHERY TO MEET EVERYONE, BUT AM SURE THAT SCOTT WILL DO HIS BEST TO TAKE CARE OF YOU ALL, PS HE WAS THE EXECATIVE CHEF IN THE CARLTON HOTEL IN EDINBURGH BEFORE, AND HIS GRUB IS ACE. THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYBODY. BILL TAYLOR

Thanks for the best day's reservoir fishing yet! Not only was the weather kind but the fish were seriously large and made their presence felt. There weren't any of those long pauses when everything went quiet. It seemed that even when the surface was millpond-quiet, half sun, half shadow in the afternoon, that fellow Stuart was on his way to releasing something!

Loved meeting up with the auld faces, and seeing many new ones, John with his huge box of flies and tying stuff, who kindly gave us a pink damsel each to try (successful) and Bert & Jim & Jim & Bernie, & Mitchwell & Liam.

Just about to check out the recipes and sort out the fish - should have asked Scott perhaps! He was very helpful and efficient and made us good food. We'll be back too....

Trish
