Default Patsull Park

Anyone got any info on Patsull Park? Looks like I might be fishing it for the first time on Sunday (on a boat/punt). I need an idiot proof guide please - areas, tactics etc.

Cheers

FJ

for anyone that may be interested, we turned up at Patsull on Sunday and it turns out there was an open competition taking place so we entered it. Wished I hadn't bothered to be honest!!!

25 anglers between them caught 2 ****** fish!!!! Comp was won with 1 fish weighing in at 1lb 12oz!!

The locals were telling us that they have had a huge problem with Algae over the summer and they seem to think that a lot of the fish didn't survive.

Nice place to fish and it might serve a purpose in feeding the habit whilst the resevoirs are closed so I might give it another go over the winter months. My only problem with the place is that it's a mixed trout/coarse lake. There was also a coarse comp/match taking place so one full bank was unfishable.

It's also amazing how close those coarse boys can throw a lead weight when you accidentally get too close to their area!!
