Default Parkley Fishery - West Lothian

Hi guys, has anyone fished here recently? I fished it about 13 years ago and have not fished it since I lifted my rod again last year.

Any input appreciated, cheers!

Default noooo

Dad wanted me to go to Parkley but I said, no, no, no

no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no nooooooo, no.

Each to their own but I would say no (no, no).

For small water, 4 hr visit for me it's Bowden, I know
many prefer Bangour - both (for me), so much better
than Parkley its not funny!

Default Bangour, Selmmuir, Pottishaw, Bowden Springs

All of these are decent fisheries, Selmmuir being my favourite. Bangour also good and Pottishaw a good challenge. There is so much good fishing in the area, including the rivers, that there is no point visiting the 'less well run' venues.

Regards,

Calum

Interesting you say that Calum. Moved to the area a couple of years ago and think the trout fishing is rather average at best.

Quite like Beecraigs but found most other waters rather artificial...all platforms and bungs.
