I was there yesterday. I had six on minkies brifting onto L buoy. There we're alot of fish taking nymphs close to the surface, but were not easy, my boat partner persevered, wasing lining buzzers, crunchers etc but couldnt crack it, he had three to the boat and missed a couple more.
Fish moving from the harbour all the way around to savages, they responded better to minkies when the breeze got up slightly. I was on a cortland blue in the morning, and a floater in the afternoon. I also had a minkie booby on my top dropper, most of the fish came bow waving after the booby and then turned to take the minkie on the point.
Good fun, just could have done with a few more fish as it was a real grind.
