Has anyone fished Dever recently as I am thinking of giving it a try before the weather gets too bad. Haven't fished it for several years so just wondered if it is still as good as it used to be?

A friend fished it towards the end of last week. He had his limit of fish to about 7lbs but his two sons also had a couple of rainbows at 11lbs+ and 13lbs+. The heaviest fish that day was a 15lber apparently.

It seems a few really struggled to catch any fish but others found it very easy! I've never found it easy at Dever, but as I've said elsewhere, it's very much a challenge and unfinished business with me!

Personally I find it difficult to drive past Avington to get to Dever!
