Lakes near Edinburgh?

Hi all,

my parents are having a short break near Ratho next February. Could you please recommend me a small to medium stillwater nearby, for my Dad, with a reasonable chance of a fish or two, preferably C&R. He's not the most mobile due to a false knee.

Seen both Rossylnlee and Allandale websites and they look ok? Any suggestions would be welcome.

Both fine fisheries ,may need to book for rossylnlee Iona at the tarn is member on here.

Both considered top of the water fisheries too.

rosslynlee is a cracking water with grade 1 fish well worth a visit
