I'm fishing Monikie Island on Sunday, anyone got any info ?

Aaron, i was on Monikie on Sunday with my club and we had a great day. I was fishing a cortland blue int and the best flies seemed to be orange blobs and silver bodied cormorants. Best area's were the dam wall around the far away water tower and the far corner from the boathouse drifting down from the island.

Cat booby and yellow blob pulling & Hares lug F Flies if the fish are up top
Coachie bank has fished well the last few outings as has the slack water in front of the top island!

the monikie fish are in excellent condition at the moment and defo on the sticklebacks...all my fish were stuffed with fry...

not easy fishing but well worth a trip for perfectly finned rainbows in gin clear water..
