Just wondering whether anyone knows whether it's open all year, or closes over the winter. Promised to take my dad fishing next time I pop home, but not going to be until early November.

Last i heard the place was closed cos of blue green alge. Should be open by now though?

Hopefully we'll have had a bit of cold weather by November, so that should clear up the water a bit. How does it fish nowadays, used to be a bit of a struggle back in the eighties. J

Any body know when they keep the boats on till please nothing worse than the end of october and most waters shut up shop??????
