Eyebrook 3rd/4th Oct
West End Fly Fishers Annual
Saturday was a hell of a day with a lot of wind ,no rain but it was'nt needed
as a considerable amount of the reserviour ended up in the boats . Perhaps
not a day for fair weather fishermen but I loved every minute of it , was very thankful to have a change of clothes waiting in the car. The weather made it difficult but still plenty of fish. Sunday was completely different with
a lovely wave on the water ,nice and warm , the fish loved it and could'nt wait to get into the boat. We went to dinner at the Oriental Fusion on Saturday evening ( its on the Rockingham road) ,that was our first visit and the food and service were excellent. The people at Eyebrook as always helpful and assist in every way they can . I think its important for fisheries to be managed by people who really want you to have a good visit and love fishing themselves Next years trip will be on the 2nd and 3rd October and anyone who wishes to come are more than welcome. The price for heaviest bag over the two days is a brown trout fishing trip for two in on the river Suir in County Tipperary Ireland . The cost to enter £80 each ,this covers the entry fee, boat and fishing for the two days
