yellowbelly is on a distinguished road
Default orchill

Website for orchill seems to be down,ive been trying to find out if catch and release is now allowed.This was mentioned in an earlier thread through the week ,but there appeared to be a difference in oppinions.Can anybody shed some light on this.

I've just been on their website http://www.assf.net/fisheries/orchill/index.html There's no mention of C & R...........

Hope you don't mind me asking, Where did you get your name of yellowbelly, that is what Lincolnshire folk are known as, comes from the Lincolnshire regiment, they all wore yellow waistcoats in their uniforms.....

It's also a common name for a Devon Lure for salmon, Usually Green back and yellow underside. Said to be helpful in coloured water Not fished for them since the 80's apart from one day in 1996

Also a common nick name for some of the wonderfully coloured wild brownies.

Hi,

I was there 2 weeks ago and the ticket info says that after you catch your ticket limit you may fish c&r on the furthest away half of the loch from the cabin (the shallow end).
