since the local is having weed removed and not much activity from last week thinking of venturing into north wales any recommendations. was thinking of chirk fishery any updates on how its fishing at the moment or anything better at the moment ?

it may be a bit far for you, but have you thought of Wal Goch at Nannerch near Mold.

cheers boys mold isnt that far live northwich but looking to branch out into north wales then start heading north up to stocks and such.

i might head over to Tan Y Mynydd as ive been needing to visit foxons for a while to get a rod repaired

im sure over the coming weeks ill get a chance to pay them all a visit.

maybe have a meet up one day see how it goes

finally got some pictures uploaded after pissing around with the phone.

ended up going to chirk fishery because im due to be working in prestatyn for a couple of weeks so should get some fishing up that area aswell

chirk fishery in the grand scheme of things is best suited for taking your child too. its not very deep so you can see the fish all swimming around and there is plenty of fish.

set out on a day ticket and to begin with was blanked then it started picking up with buzzers before taking 6 on consectutive casts with a lure on

not alot of people were catching as the fish seemed to be spooked easily.
aswell as the fish have a habit of following the fly all the way until i ran out of line and no matter what i did as soon as i tried to change the retrieval either to slow it down or come to a complete stop they swam off

was a fun day out with real nice weather at times
