Default Linlithgow Loch

Any of the Scottish lads fished here ?

Maybe going there on Sunday with my brother, had a look on there site for best fly patterns at the moment and also just for more information and pics.

flies that are fishing best just now are crunchers Diawl Bachs and blobs... i thought this was fry munching season ? or will it maybe worth while chucking out some fry imitations.

if my brother txt's back and says hes got us booked in then this will have been my 3rd outing this season and so far ive blanked on 2 outings lol. though the 2nd outing me blanking was partly my own fault. as when i felt a knock i got a bit over generous pulling into the fish, you would have thought i was fishing for sharks lol.

Was on with my club on Sunday more than half the club blanked. One of our lads had 6 fish he was fishing a slow intermediate with a Booby on the point and two Blobs on the droppers. The colour was Sunburst. The fish were just under the surface. The water is like green pea soup.

PS I was not one of the blankers.
